Conditions of purchase

Our objective when assigning orders

We always strive to achieve the greatest possible added value for the Rommelag Group and to regulate responsibilities.

Rommelag's terms and conditions of purchase ensure ongoing clear relationships in dialogue with our suppliers.

In order to guarantee the product quality we expect and compliance with pharmaceutical requirements, we individually conclude quality agreements with our suppliers, depending on the scope of delivery and service.

Supply chain due diligence

Sustainability in our supplier network

The Supply Chain Due Diligence Act regulates corporate responsibility for respecting human rights and due diligence obligations in global supply chains. This includes, for example, protection against child labor, the right to fair wages and environmental protection.

This benefits people in the supply chains, companies and also consumers. Rommelag's German sites have been obliged to implement the provisions of the LkSG since 01.01.2024.

Core elements of the due diligence obligations

We strive for a transparent supply chain and take responsibility for people and the environment. The entire Rommelag Group minimizes risks for human rights violations and environmental pollution - both in its own operations and in cooperation with business partners. By cooperating with partners who share our values, we want to ensure sustainable procurement in the long term.
To firmly anchor the core principles of our actions, we have developed a Code of Conduct for both our business partners and our employees. This code reflects our core values and our understanding of social responsibility. Code of Conduct

As part of the risk analysis, we assess compliance with the legal requirements and basic principles of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners once a year. In the event of identified risks, we request further information from our business partners via a questionnaire and reserve the right to conduct audits.

Our whistleblower portal can be used to report incidents of human rights violations, environmental violations or ethical misconduct that affect the Rommelag Group's own business operations worldwide as well as direct suppliers.

For us, sustainability not only means taking responsibility for the environment, but is also a central aspect of our entire business activity. To ensure this, our company-wide sustainability team has defined specific standards and methods. More about sustainability

Networks

Networks and co-operations

By bundling requirements and standardising our procurement processes within the Rommelag Group, we achieve synergies and optimise our purchasing results. Strategic partnerships also help us to build a resilient supply network and create long-term added value. We have been a member of QESAR since 2003 and work together with medium-sized mechanical engineering companies on procurement issues and beyond.
